📘 PTDF 2026 Scholarship Eligibility Guidelines

Please pay close attention—meeting these criteria is essential!

🎓 For MSc Applicants:

Must hold a minimum of Second-Class Upper (2:1) or a 2:2 with relevant industry experience
Must have completed NYSC
Must be computer literate
Five (5) O’Level credits including English and Mathematics
Submit a statement of purpose (max 500 words) showing relevance to oil & gas and national development
Must have a verified NIN (NIMC verification charges apply)

🎓 For PhD Applicants:

Completed NYSC
Be computer literate
Have at least 2:2 in their first degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification
Provide a 5-page research proposal: Topic, introduction, objective, methodology & data collection
Five (5) O’Level credits including English and Mathematics
Verified NIN is compulsory

NYSC Discharge Certificate
O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, GCE) with result checker PINs
Recent Passport Photograph

📌 NOTE: If you’ve previously received a PTDF scholarship for MSc or PhD, you’re not eligible to apply for the same or a lower level again.

University lecturers must provide a letter from their Vice Chancellor confirming they’re not receiving other sponsorship
